What is Diegetic and Non-Diegetic sounds:

-Diegetic:

“Sound whose source is visible on the screen or whose source is implied to be present by the action of the film: voices of characters, sounds made by objects in the story,
music represented as coming from instruments in the story space ( = source music)”

Overwatch’s sounds:

-Diegetic:

Diegetic sounds in “Overwatch” show environmental sounds , voices over of characters,gun shots and walking sounds.

-Non-Diegetic:

Non-diegetic sounds are menu/hub sounds, orchestra  music voice for the announcer, which only the player can hear it.

Skyrim’s sounds:

-Diegetic:

Sounds which are diegetic in Skyrim, environmental music, environmental sounds, weapons, speeches which are in game.

-Non-Diegetic:

Non-Diegetic music in Skyrim is its menu/hub sounds, crafting, weapons, loading screen music and in game music soundtrack.

Similarities and differences:

-Both games have environmental music and sound effects.
